Nitrile Rubber seals also described as a rotary seal, shaft seal or lip seals, made from synthetic elastomers bonded to metal case. The main function of this type of seal is to exclude the ingress of dirt, dust, water or any other extraneous substances whilst maintaining lubricant for the seal lip and protecting rotating bearings

Viton Seals are Brown in Colour and come with a Stainless Steel Garter Spring. They have a Chemical and Heat Resistance up to 200 Degrees Celsius and higher for shorter periods of time. Going the other way they can operate at -30; With their resistance to common salt, it makes them an ideal choice for marine applications.
